Paint The World
Paint the World is a series of videos I make for my Patreon pledgers roughly once a week, where we use Mapcrunch to take us to a random location in the world, try and guess where it is, and then Pete tells me facts about the place while I paint it!
Head over to Patreon.com/LiseRichardson to watch all the Paint the World videos!
The first location we visited for our "pilot" episode of Paint the World was Thaba-Tseka in Lesotho.
In the video we talked about good and terrifying Twitch streams, I loop around the topic of what drives me creatively while getting distracted, and Pete disputes an anecdote.
In episode one of Paint the World, we visited Borreby in Denmark.
In this episode we chat about Whigfield, Finnish footballers, norse mythology, and the haunted basement of the first house I lived in.
For episode three we visit Tabasco in Mexico.
In this episode I get very excited about guessing the location correctly, we learn about the grim origin story of vanilla, and look at a nice picture of some corn.
Our fourth location was somewhere in Santa Fe, Argentina.
In this episode we look at several flags, talk about the best women's hockey player in the world, and feel a bit bad for piranhas.
The first of two mapcrunches we did live on Twitch - we got stuck in Senegal for quite a while.
The second of two mapcrunches done live on Twitch - this one was a distant mountainside in Murcia, Spain.
Our seventh location, which initially looked very close to the spot we did in Argentina. In this episode we looked into a bunch of dinosaurs and quite a generic museum.
